Hi there my stay was good my room was at the side of the main road but the noise wasn't too bad.Room was good for if you on a budget.Staff very pleasant and helpful Be good when restuarant up and running.

The property was very clean and quiet considering its location The only things i can probably complain about is the bed was past its best , you could feel the springs . We did mention the bed at checkout and was told they are waiting for head office to get new beds. And the coffee sachets although they were complimentary they were disgusting

Booked a room, asked for a room by car park to avoid the most main road the other side. New manager apparently messed it up and i was put in a twreible room right next to the road. Never slept with the noise. What made it worse i slot in a bed of springs with a cloth over them... not a mattress. Pointless contacting the hotel with requests now, mine was there over a month and i stayed there 2 weeks before so knew it was in the doary. Extremely dissappointed

To be honest it wasnt the Ritz but it was good value for money, you get what you pay for. I have paid more at other hotels and got less. The only down size was the bed moving when you move or turn over but hey we managed to get some sleep, also as a restaurant to have a better food menu would have been nice. The room was clean with clean fresh bedding. With a tv and tea making facilities. The staff were very helpful and friendly and at hand to help where ever needed. Spent time with the staff in the bar/restaurant and having a laugh. Will definitely visit again. Thank you to Campanile staff

you could feel every spring in the mattress, chair was broken, extractor fan was on all the time and noisy, constant screaming and shouting from other rooms and sirens and loud traffic all day and night. apart from carpet the room was clean and the staff were polite and friendly

Thank you for the feedback. Unfortunately the boiler had tripped out, it happens on occaisions but we do call our engineers , thankfully it was not off for long, thank you for your feedback.

My mates and I stayed for one night at the Hotel it was basic but ideal for our needs as we were going to see a band play the person at reception was very nice and professional and made us welcome for a no frills place to stay we couldn’t fault it and will use it again in the future

The staff were nice. The management dont care about their standards. Our matress in room 6 was the worst weve ever known, with springs sticking in you and twanging with every movement. We did not sleep at all, if you cant sleep in a hotel..whats the point of it. When we brought this up with staff they said the management knew, so they just couldnt be bothered to fix it. It takes 30 minutes to go buy even just a matress topper, and at the cost of 1 nights let..... theres no excuse for this. The room should not have been let until a new matress had been provided, surely they can afford one!! There are also health and safety issues with the internal porch door and bathroom door as they were swollen and very difficult to open and shut especially for an elderly or disabled person..this is another easy fix not sorted. The bath side was at least 25" high making stepping in and out difficult and there wasnt a slip mat in the bath to aid with this. We took this break simply to rest and we could not do this so it was a complete waste of money and feel a refund is in order.Even a budget hotel should be able to supply the basic bed for this. We are not rich people. We have put a complaint in with Expedia for allowing bookings to this hotel on their site, spoiling their reputation, but of course, we havent had a reply. In summary very disappointed and unhappy with this experience. We may not trust Expedia again!!
